As the security guard, your job is to keep the animatronics at bay until 6 am, the time that your shift ends. You receive phone calls that give you helpful tips for surviving the night. In Five Nights at Freddy's 2, the sequel to the first game, the old gang of animatronics are joined by some new characters.
These characters are more kid-friendly, have advanced facial recognition technology, and promise to be better than their old counter-parts. You still play as the security guard, attempting to use every tool at your disposal to keep the animatronics out of your office at night.
