Never miss a thing. Watch on YouTube. PlayStation 4 Pro doesn't quite get to a full native 4K, but its dynamic resolution ranges from p to p - typically resting at a satisfactory p. It's still a big step up in image quality over a base PS4's p - while also adding in superior ambient occlusion. Xbox One takes a hit in image quality compared to PS4 as well - using a dynamic resolution setup that hits p at peak.
In reality though, busy city spots run at 90 per cent on each axis, at p. Also note Xbox One's downgraded shadow detail on the far left, where PS4 formats share the same setting. Draw distance is much improved on PS4 Pro's quality setting shown here. Geometry, textures and shadows are rendered across the wall of the castle - missing at this range on PS4 and Xbox one. The push for larger scale battles opens up broader areas - where PS4 Pro's higher resolution helps for picking out enemies.
It's the same texture preset across the game, even for less flattering areas like this. A final shot at a native p on all formats, showing PS4 Pro's super-sampled image. Again this demonstrates the downgrade to Xbox One's shadows by comparison to the other two machines. A comparison of PS4 Pro's 'quality' and 'resolution' modes. The quality mode has the advantage of pushing out draw distances, while resolution mode uses similar settings to a base PS4.
Here everything is presented at p, with super-sampling in effect on PS4 Pro Another p shot to demonstrate the different LOD settings used for each mode. Note that ambient occlusion stays the same on PS4 Pro regardless, always at a superior level to base PS4.
A full 4K comparison shot between PS4 Pro's two modes. In effect, the pixel count is surprisingly similar between the two - each often resting at p on average - and the advantage you'd expect in the resolution mode is hard to catch.
Pop-in is massively reduced in the quality mode. The draw distance upgrades here make it a clear preference if you're playing Shadow of War on PS4 Pro.
Up close, all other aspects of the game are identical between quality and resolution modes. Will you support the Digital Foundry team?

This version of the OS does not support DirectX Reports say that if you install all small updates for Internet Explorer 11, not the browser itself, on Windows 7, you can launch the game.
This is once again an issue with Windows 7. Check the above paragraph and make sure your PC covers the hardware and software requirements to run Shadow of War. This should no longer be an issue as it was related to an attempt to download, install and play the game before its official release. If you had this previously, try resuming the install process again and it should finish in no time.
This problem can be fixed by downloading the latest version of Microsoft Runtime Library. Be sure to check if you have downloaded the extra high resolution textures pack. You can download it from the official game page on Steam. Make sure you turn off Dynamic Resolution on PC! If you are playing the game on PC with a controller and are experiencing weird inverted controls for Stealth, Bow and others, unplug the controller, switch back to keyboard and mouse, play for a while, then plug back in the controller.
Reports suggest that this fixes the issue and your controls will now be normal. This message might appear for you. Things work normally despite this warning. Everything can be saved and loaded properly. If not, then you should contact customer support, but in all cases I have heard, everyone is fine and can play their game. It seems that this feature is not available at least in the first days after release as multiple reports have appeared that players cannot share it with their family members.
It might just not be possible. This has been reported multiple times and there is no solution at this point 11th October. To make sure things are correct on your end — you have to play both games on the same platform and with the same account example — Steam. This appears to be a popular issue among Ryzen users. There is no solution at this moment, but just so you know — you are not alone! As mentioned previously, this is a giant game, reaching just about GB. If you are experiencing over and over the scene where Burz the Chopper story campaign NPC keeps giving you the same advice over and over, go ahead and equip the Bodyguard perk if you have unequipped it before for some reason.
This should allow the story to continue and Burz will stop showing up for you with the same words and scene. This issue has no proper fix for the moment. The only solution is to uninstall the game and install it fresh. It occurs usually if you have downloaded the game first and are trying to add the Free 4k Cinematics and HD Textures Pack later.
Be warned, though, the full game with the 2 Free DLCs is GB in size, where as the core game without the additional high resolution textures and 4k cinematic experience is about GB. Switched to the beta and it downloaded just fine. No, it doesn't. You need to chill with the over exaggerations, it makes you come off like a troll. Yes it does genius. I'm not trolling. I'm extremely surprised at how horrid the textures are on the ps4 pro version.
See the digital foundry analysis PSN: Dreman Again, no it doesn't. Are you ignorant of the definition of the words you're using or what? Horrid is an overexaggeration. The texture work isn't 4k, but in what world is that "horrid"? Certainly not the console world. Get your eyes checked kid. Graphics look similar to if an orc shart on my tv screen. PSN: Dreman User Info: Slood. Friday the 13th, dead by daylight, and more. Slood posted You sir are making yourself look like an idiot Mmm that hurts.
It looks like a ps4 game with p graphics, indeed like nearly every single ps4 game from a resolution perspective, and it is one of the better looking ones at that. Now may be your ignorant on more than just the meaning of words, but 4k displays are a pixel for pixel 4x upscale of , which means there's no stretched or loss pixels in the transfer.
